About Rivets

Rivets form a permanent mechanical joint by deforming a soft metal shank through aligned holes in the parts being joined — used wherever a bolted joint isn't wanted or a weld isn't practical, such as sheet metal assembly, brake linings, and light structural fabrication. Kesharia stocks both hot forged and cold forged rivets. Hot forged rivets are supplied with 60° countersunk (including raised CSK), snap head and universal head profiles; cold forged rivets are supplied with 90° countersunk, snap head, universal head and flat head profiles. Materials include brass, stainless steel and mild steel. Full dimensional data — nominal shank diameter, diameter tolerance, head diameter and head depth — is available for every head profile and is confirmed against the relevant table on enquiry.
